Every Sunday we’ll recap some global happenings and travel buzz from the past week in a segment entitled "In Case You Missed It." It'll have backpacker info, info on fun events, a couple uplifting news items, and some completely random stuff as well.
There’s lots going on out there…here’s some of it:
1. Uber is experimenting with on-demand kitten and puppy delivery services.
2. China wants to dig a tunnel to Nepal through Mount Everest. Yikes.
3. It’s spring, perfect time for a road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway.
4. You can buy a travel book on Amazon. Now you can buy travel bookings.
5. Coachella kicked off. AC/DC performed for the first time in six years!
6. Meanwhile in Thailand: A baby elephant reunited with its mother.
7. If you weren’t hungry for Asian food already, you will be now.
8. This is like Hangover 3 meets Nicholas Sparks, or something. Gross!
